A One Year Challenge

to investigate Jesus Christ

vs.23 I wonder who those places have been prepared for. Several times later on it say's Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father... so I guess God is on his left, but I wonder who's on the right.

Vs28 So many people (most Jews) were expecting a conquering king. Isn't it amazing that he chose to come first as a servant? WOW!

Vs17 (Enter Life) & Vs28 (Renewal of all things): Just a reminder that the 'life' we 'live' now is not really life its self. Our true Life, true existence is yet to come! :D (And I can hardly wait!!)

vs29 The list of things that we have to be willing to give up can be overwhelming if you look at life as the time between our birth and death. It's so much easier when you remember eternity. Also a reminder that my Children or Husband can NOT be EVERYTHING to me. I HAVE to keep Him first.

vs34: Ug! I never noticed that the unmerciful servant had his fellow servant thrown in jail, but when the king had the unmerciful servant thrown it jail it wasn't just jail, but also to be tortured. WOW!! What a reminder to always forgive and show mercy and remember the mercy God's shown us. WOW!

Chp 16 vs 21 & Chp 17 vs 23: When Jesus told the disciples he would die and then be raised on the third day Why were they always sad? Did they not have enough faith?

Jesus Christ is the most central figure in History!

IF it is true that Jesus was the Son of God who intentionally gave his life to die on the cross for us and rose again,

THEN is is also true that each of us will face Jesus after we die.

Sadly, most people on accept "Hearsay" about Jesus. They form their opinions from 1-2 religious seasons or by hearing a lot of opinions and NOT from a careful investigation of his life.

  • It would be sad NOT to believe in Jesus Christ based on "Hearsay" about Jesus.

  • It is ALSO sad to BELIEVE in Jesus Christ based on "Hearsay" about Jesus.

Neither conclusion is a healthy way to respond to the most important subject you will ever face.

The goal of this challenge and blog is to give each person time, respect, tools and encouragement to investigate Jesus Christ for themselves.

This is just a list of my comments on my daily reading. I am human, so there are bound to be some mistakes! Please don't go by my 'hearsay', but research everything for yourself!! Feel free to add your own comments. Please no debates or preaching this is just for your notes too.
